I know it's like every VIP's dream (Malaysian VIP at least) to see them performing live. Chances of them coming here for concert is pretty slim (insider news *sigh*) luckily I went to see them when they came to Singapore~ Let's hope that our local organizers are willing to take a 'risk' and bring them here...Guess they're just a bunch of business person...everything is about risk, I wish they can see the potential~
Anyway, this is supposed to be a guideline for those who wish to travel to Singapore next month for Mnet Ultimate Live in Singapore in a budget kinda way. You don't need a place to sleep, just find a place to hangout and fangirl/boy with your friends (I get this idea from a discussion...and it's kinda fun). Although many were excited about hanging out overnight, most of them backed out afraid that it's not worth to attend the concert. You won't regret it...Big Bang sung 7 songs that night~ It's like a mini-showcase. You don't even get that much from our local showcase *sigh* and you get to see many different artist... I was blew away by ft.island~ Their live performance is very amazing~ So I'm pretty looking forward for Mnet Ultimate Live...

Getting your ticket
You can still get it from sistic. I got my ticket from a friend who's staying in Singapore.
Besides that, you can look at their official FB page and see if there's ppl selling there. Might be a lil' risky and choose only those that look genuine (with a profile pic) and don't ever buy from those who mark up the price. There was a seller there selling a pair of allegedly VIP tickets for $600! Don't fall for it... There's only one category for this concert;- Free Standing...love it or not... Bring your heels~ ^^
Traveling to Singapore
Taking first coach again this time. It only cost RM 128 for two ways and it's quite timely. Will take approximately 5 hours and you even get a 20 mins stop somewhere in Johor. Try to book for your bus ticket 2-3 weeks prior to your departure.
It'll bring you right in front of Novena Square MRT (the red line) and you can find your way to anywhere with MRT. You just have to get used to it (request for a MRT map from the information counter, it's kinda handy). To get to Marina Bay Sands from Novena Square, you can either take a cab or MRT (just 8 stations away). Then from there it should be within walking distance.
After the concert
It'll be quite late after the concert so head on fast to the MRT to get to your next stop (24 hrs shop). I'm suggesting you guys get to Orchard (take the same MRT from Marina Bay). Walk along Orchard street, you'll find a few 24 hrs McD, Starbucks, Cafe... Bring a laptop
with you~ It's quite safe there so no worries about being robbed etc...It'll be fun hanging overnight there~ You can always sleep while you're on your way back... 5 hr bus journey is kinda long =.=;Getting back to Malaysia
First coach bus will depart from Novena Square (not opposite of the MRT tho). Right next to the MRT you'll see a staircase on the left...follow that path until you see a cafe/restaurant with green sign. You can wait for your bus there...
Budget... How much to bring?
Roughly $100 will be enough for you to eat and travel there... But there's a Korean mart in novena square~ you might wanna bring a lil' more to shop while you're there... Our phone line work in Singapore but it's kinda expensive...
Going alone
Not advisable...Better bring a friend who is as crazy as you~!
